Good morning from Amelia at Chalkbeat Indiana!

One of my first reporting jobs was covering public schools in Lowell, Massachusetts. I didn’t think I’d be in another Lowell High School again in my career — but indeed that’s where I was last week, this time in Lowell, Indiana.

I’m curious about the odds that some school districts may be up against when it comes to passing a referendum in the fall. I visited this community to try to find out.
